Medicom Twiggy Doll#2

I just got this one off the Ebay not too long ago. I believe this doll is the 2nd release of 2 from the Medicom Toys Japan. The doll is constructed with soft vinyl body and 270mm in height with a doll stand included. It is no longer in production unfortunately. Here are some pix taken while the doll is still inside the packaging. Enjoy.........:D

Our good friend Roy K. has just sent us these pix where he used the ZC Girls' curve feet with heeled shoes to make these shots. He used the stanard Cy Girl body and was able to attach ZC Girls' feet parts that he acquired from eBay to fit nicely on the figure. I'll be sure to get more exciting pix from him in the near future.......

Edaction 1/6 Realistic Female Prototype Figure

Edaction, a brand new unknown manufacturer of 1/6 scale figure possibly from China has released these PR photos of their prototype work. They claimed to have used the advanced silicone material to produce this ultra realistic figure. Slated for 2011 release, or the rumor says, we will have to glaze our teary eyes for a while and hope that Edaction get their acts together to come up with this fantastic seamless figure in actual production. It is suggested that this figure will go for around $150 and up, so it is certainly not made for the frugal penny 1/6 crowd.

Ultimate Unison Sasamoto Eri Figure

Medicom/Enterbay will release the - Ultimate Unison Sasamoto Eri Figure from the popular Japanese TV drama Security Police (SP Metropolitan Police Department Security Police Division, 4th District). The figure has a very nice head sculpt and accessories. The price is pretty steep - around $247 bucks a pop. For the die-hard fun it is a great news. Check it out........

New from TBLeague：Version II of the 1/6 female body

Never heard of TBLeague before, but I guess they are soon to release these jointless silicone skin bodies which is a good news for any 1/6 female fans. The head and also the feet are not included, so you'll have to have feet from other spares such as the Takara or the ZC girl body feet. They are questimated to be around $50 to $60 bucks per pop.

Girl's Mission Figures - 1st Series

Girl's Mission figures were released in 2007-2008 by the famous model producer Skynet/Aoshima from Japan. They are little petite (possibly high school) secret girl group that does espionage and assassination work for a clandestine organization. These dolls are fully articulable and possible, and they are about 8" to 9" tall, smaller then the regular 1/6 standard female figures. This photo shows the first three from the first GM series. From left to right - School Girl Ai, Yui and Miki.

Trinity Designs, the exclusive distributor of the Essence series of 16" dolls are making pretty cool head ways in showcasing the minority dolls that are currently so lacking in the doll market. Made of vinyl and hard plastic with articulating joints, these dolls are individually certificated, these gorgeous dolls also contain push button activated audio. Too bad they are in the 16" format, but nonetheless they are pretty cool sets of dolls to be had and displayed.....
